Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala NOT Taking A Leap, What A U-Turn: Mohit Malik NOT Quitting, Says, "That's True"- EXCLUSIVE
Kabhi Haan, Kabhi Naa. Lekin, finally Naa. Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala is NOT doing a fast forward and Mohit Mallik is NOT quitting
4 days ago, Bombay Times brought you a story that Star Plus’ Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala starring Mohit Malik and Aakriti Sharma, which was recently shifted to the 6:30 pm slot to make way for Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka is eventually going ahead with the leap and consequently Mohit will go out of the show.
Mohit then had even confirmed with the publication that he was indeed quitting.
“I was fine with playing father to two small girls in the show. But I do not want to play a father to grown-up girls because I don’t think it will look convincing,” Mohit had told the publication.
But in a sudden turn of new events, Star Plus has taken a call today that the leap is NOT happening. Yes, you read that right. SpotboyE.com has it that the channel in question auditioned several girls to play Mohit's daughters and several men to play an elderly Mohit- but somehow they didn't zero down on anybody, and meanwhile, a few meetings took place alongside and a decision was taken that 'Let's just forget the leap completely'.
When contacted, Mohit CONFIRMED that the leap is NOT happening and he's not going anywhere. "Your news is true," he said.
It would be recalled that even earlier when Star Plus had thought of a leap, we were the FIRST to tell you that they have kept the idea aside.
Suddenly again, they thought of going with it and until this morning, everything was in place, fine and steady- but achanak, it's back to square one.
SpotboyE.com also has it that the show is now being shifted to the 7 pm slot from December 23 onward. The show has been on air from March 19, 2018.
